This is a book club for rising 2nd-4th graders who want to dig deeper into their summer reading. Many schools have summer reading assignments and our Chapter Chats will help them respond appropriately and intentionally to their reading. Chapter Chat will meet 3 afternoons a week, Tuesday-Thursday from 4-5pm. Tuition is $60/week and you may sign up for one or all of the weeks below:
June 16-18: Bink and Gollie
June 23-25: Maniac Magee
July 7-9: Full of Beans
July 21-23: A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning
I was lucky enough not to face any required summer reading lists until I went to college. So I still think of summer as the best time to read for fun.
