At Ballantyne Reading Academy for the Very Young, we love to read! Some of our earliest memories are being curled up on a loved one’s lap, listening to stories coming, as if by magic, from the worn pages of a well-loved book. We all remember a favorite nursery rhyme, poem or storybook from our childhoods. As educators, we know that giving young children positive experiences with reading lays the foundation for future success in school and beyond. Research has proven that children who are exposed to reading at an early age are more likely to be successful in all areas of the curriculum. Our goal is to provide support for families with young children to boost their learning potential and promote a life-long love of reading.  Here you will find a trusting, relaxed environment and a faculty with big ideas for fun, interactive lessons that will turn your little learner into a real reader!
